Use of Information
When you place an order with beslighting.com you will be asked for information such as your name, shipping/billing address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card number and expiration date. We use this information to fulfill your orders and to inform you of your order status. Since some of our merchandise is shipped directly from our trusted manufacturers, we must share your shipping information with them. We use this information to track, follow-up and contact you with shipping confirmation. We do not store your credit card number in file longer than the credit card company requires us nor do we share your credit card number with anyone else. We respect your privacy and understand the seriousness of sharing personal information to solicit further business from you.
At BES Lighting, your satisfaction is our #1 priority, and we take pride in providing you with fast, dependable, and safe delivery service. Each order is shipped using one of 2 standard methods - whichever one is best suited for your order.
1) Standard ground - Small Parcel.
Small-to-medium sized orders will ship using UPS or Fed Ex - at no expense to you if the order is above $75. Shipments usually arrive 1-7 business days from the time they leave the warehouse. (Note: While BES Lighting does not require a signature on small parcel deliveries, it is ultimately up to the driver’s discretion. If delivery without a signature is desired, it is advised you leave a note on the door with appropriate instructions.)
Expedited Shipping Services are available including, Next Day, 2-Day, 3-Day Services. BES Lighting will not be liable for expedited shipping charges due to delay in the lead-time of an order. Expedited shipping services are offered only to speed up the Transit Time. We have no control over the in-house time of an order (time prior to shipment) and do not guarantee or promise delivery dates. Therefore, we request that our customers plan ahead and place timely orders that allow for both in-house and the transit time. Contact us to arrange for expedited shipping at (888) 237-5444.
2) Truck Freight - Large items
Larger items will ship via truck freight. Items shipped freight are delivered to curbside or driveway only and may incur a $75 over-sized item surcharge; for any additional delivery needs or questions, please contact our sales professionals at (888) 237-5444. Truck freight orders require that someone is available to accept the delivery. Most carriers will contact you to set up a delivery time, usually a 2-4 hour appointment window during normal business hours.
If the carrier is unable to contact the customer, the customer will then be responsible for any storage fees, freight charges back to the manufacturer in addition to the original shipment expense.
3) Outside the 48 States
The up-charge for shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada or Puerto Rico will appear in the “additional shipping” field on the checkout page. If the shipment is going to another country, you will need to call for a quote - (888) 237-5444. Please note that BES Lighting is not responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees including Brokerage fees and Customs that are associated with any purchase. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer.
About Estimated Shipping Times
At BES Lighting, we do our best to provide you with accurate shipping times for our products. The times are estimates only. Occasionally, items shown to be in stock or available get pre-sold, in this case, you will be sent an email notification that your item is on backorder, you have the option to continue to wait for that item, cancel your order for a full refund, or select a different item to order. Custom made products can have varying ship times and we recommend ordering custom products well in advance to avoid project delays.
BES Lighting is not liable for costs associated with shipment delays.

30 Day Return Policy
No Hassle Returns
If you would like to return an item, the item must be in resalable condition, with original packaging, no writing or labels on the packaging, and never been installed. You may return the product within 30 days of receipt. All manufacturers charge 20% to 50% in restocking fees, but we at BES Lighting value your business and will work with you on a case-by-case basis, but all items are potentially subject to a 20% restocking charge. If you return an item with a restocking fee, it will be deducted from the refund. BES Lighting sells products from some manufacturers that are custom made or built-to-order. These items are non-returnable and non-cancellable once the order has been placed. Note: If your product has arrived damaged or doesn’t work properly, please refer to the “Damaged & Defective Goods Policy” below.
Step 1 - Acquire Authorization and Instructions
To begin the return process, please call us at (888) 237-5444 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. In most cases we will immediately email you a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number to return product. A return label, if requested, can be sent along with return instructions, but the cost to ship the item back will be deducted from the credit the customer receives once the item is returned.
Step 2 - Shipping Product Back
Ship the item to the warehouse. Below are the keys to a successful return:
- Good Packaging: Re-pack products for return in the original box with original packaging material. Use the return label provided or your own label and write the RGA# exactly as instructed by BES Lighting. Do not write on the box to maintain its like-new condition. Improper labeling may result in the denial of return.
- Ship & Insure: Next, ship the product to the warehouse address provided using your choice of carriers. We recommend insuring the package against damage or loss. Returns that are damaged or lost will not be replaced or refunded by BES Lighting.
- Tracking Number: We recommend using a carrier that will provide you with a return tracking number as this will speed up your return process. If you have not received credit within 14 days from the date of delivery to the warehouse, please contact us at 1-888-237-5444 and provide us with the tracking number so that we can expedite the credit process for you.
You will have 30 days in which to return the product from the date we issue the RGA. After 30 days, the Return Authorization will expire and no replacements or refunds will be given. In the event that a return becomes damaged on its way back to the return destination, BES Lighting will inform the customer via email that the item was received damaged and hold the product for up to 30 days. It is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier and instruct BES Lighting concerning what to do with the damaged product. If BES Lighting has not received notification or response from the customer within 30 days, the item will be donated or destroyed.
Step 3 – Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and verified to have all original contents and packaging and confirmed to be free of damage, the refund credit process will begin. Customers will be refunded via the same method in which the item was purchased or via check from BES Lighting. Refunds via check are typically issued within 14 business days of final approval. Items returned without the proper RGA# or sent to the wrong warehouse are subject to an automatic 50% restocking fee or complete forfeiture of your refund. If credit is to be given, it will be by store credit only. Please read your return instructions carefully to avoid delays and unnecessary expenses. Please do not request a charge back from your credit card company during the return process, due to the time it takes to resolve charge.
